A Talented Young Artist in Mae Sot

When Sister Marcela of Mother Josefa Alzua Home wanted another wall painted at the orphanage, I immediately thought of one of the girls there, Julia, who did a lovely drawing yesterday. She got to work right after lunch. In a few hours, she had quietly and skilfully sketched out her drawing on the wall. She will start painting tomorrow (unfortunately I will not be there to watch her at work!) and should be finished by the time I go back in 2 weeks. Looking forward to seeing the beautiful finished painting!
