OK, here are some initial thoughts on the Kids Home Foundation project: once or twice a week (Mar - Apr, dates tbc): between 9 - 6pm: painting on cards/canvases (portable, simple, not too time-consuming for children with short attention spans); origami crane making (there is now one volunteer); making clay figures (volunteer/s needed); T-shirt painting (materials needed/volunteers needed). May also have a magic show by a friend at some point.
We don't have to do all at once in a day; can rotate activities within the month. Each activity can be in blocks of 1 - 2 hours (more or less) throughout the day. Flexible hours - to be worked out with volunteers.
What do you think? Anyone in Chiang Mai interested in donating time or skill or materials? THANK YOU!

It used to be that the best way to raise money for the developing world was to show the abject poverty that could be found there, but NGOs are finding that tactic no longer works.
ArtSpeak this is what Artspeak tries to do: empower, connect, encourage, provide opportunities/space for art and creativity!
