ArtSpeak has started its art activities for Kids Home Foundation‘s Smile Holidays Project (26 Mar – 11 May 2012). See blog post here. Here is some information about the Foundation (from their website):

“The Kids Home is an innovative non-profit, non-political organization that provides support to children in need. We have one defining characteristic:100% of the donations we receive are spent on our projects in Thailand. We have no office nor staff in Europe – the few administrative costs being entirely covered by our Board members.

We are currently taking care of over 150 children in the Chiang Mai Province (North of Thailand). We follow them one by one. Our goal is to provide them with emotional support, protection and better opportunities for the future.”

The Foundation’s Smile Holidays Project consists of a series of activities during the Thai school summer holidays. ArtSpeak and its volunteers are helping out with some art activities (like craft making, drawing and papier mache sculpturing). Updates are on our Facebook page or on our blog.
